The victim, identified as Diamond Harris, 33, of Milwaukee, was found wounded in the 8100 block of South Stony Island Avenue, near the Zanzibar Motel.
He suffered multiple bullet wounds and later died, according to a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office.
